Now it is HOT!

Hi friends, Ojo here!

Spring has finally arrived on our mountain top!

The weather has gone from mostly-cold to suddenly-very-hot!

Do you know what I do when it's HOT? I go for a swim!

I'm not a big swimmer. I must admit I'm not super-comfortable in the water. But on HOT days I slide in and paddle around just long enough to get my entire body wet. Ahh, that feels much better!

Cobi did not swim. Ever. Never-ever-ever. But I like to do it sometimes.

Do you like to swim, friends?

Also here are some flowers from our Walk today.

We have never gone swimming and don't think we'd like to either. Those are pretty wild flowers you found.

We don't get to go swimming either. Mom says it is a lot of work if we get all wet because then she has to be sure our undercoats dry thoroughly or we might get a fungus:( We do our best to stay cool inside in the a/c. Timber and Lightning like to lie on the cool air vents that are on the floor.

We love the flowers too.

I do not swim. Mind you, it is never ever very hot here in Scotland. On what counts as a hot day here (mid to high twenties) I will paddle in the river deep enough to cool by belly, but never deeper. I like to keep all paws on a firm footing.
Toodle pip!

You are a very smart girl to cool off in the water, Ojo. I have never had the opportunity to swim in a lake but I probably wouldn't go in. I do love my bath in the bathtub though.

Hi, Ojo! Charlie, our first cardigan corgi, would swim in a pond on the Golden Gate National Recreation Area if I threw a stick in for him to retrieve. But he preferred to retrieve on land! Your mountain top is lovely. (I thought you had returned to the city....perhaps I am remembering incorrectly).

Every morning when I walk with bow I come home and get right in the pool and swim around to cool off but we have been unable to get bow into the pool to see if he likes it or not or if he can swim

I love that you have water to cool off in. No water here, I'm afraid, in the Southern California mountains. But I'm sure my Faith would love to swim since she's part Lab and has webbed feet, that means skin between her toes so she can swim better. It was fun watching you cool off and I bet you swim better than you think you do.

We've had some wild weather in the past couple days. It went from hot and muggy to cool and windy after a great big thunder storm rolled through. But to answer your question, I Chester have never gone swimming. It looks like fun, though.
