Mowgli's big adventure

Hi friends! Ojo here!

This is Mowgli. We found him on our Walk. He and I played! But his person was missing.

He had his tag on his collar so my person looked at it and then she got on the phone. The person on the other end of the phone said, "Oh yes Mowgli is our Dog and we've been looking for him everywhere he slipped out the gate from our house a few hours ago. He's in the forest you say? We'll come right away to get him." Or something like that, I couldn't hear very well since it was on the phone.

We waited with Mowgli. My person shared my cheese to help him make good choices around other Dogs that went past while we were waiting. Friends, Mowgli was a bit young and very enthusiastic. Maybe a bit too enthusiastic sometimes. But he decided to be a perfect gentledog and and listened very well when there was cheese involved. I wasn't sure about sharing my cheese, but I got just as much as Mowgli did so I guess it was okay.

After a while Mowgli's person came zooming up on a bicycle. It took fifteen minutes on a Very Fast Bicycle to get from Mowgli's house to us in the forest. That's a long way!

Mowgli's person said, "Thank you very much." Then we said good-bye and Mowgli and his person zoomed off together.

The moral of this story is: If you're going to have a grand adventure, make sure you go somewhere fun like the forest where there are other Dogs and people with cheese. And wear your collar and tags so your people can find you again!

Walk in a winter wonderland

Hi friends! Ojo here!

I went walking in a winter wonderland! My person says there's a song about that!

Also I went rolling in the winter wonderland. Is there a song for that too? There should be!

I am a teacher!

 Hi friends! Ojo here!

Some of you may already know that for work my person helps people teach their Dogs to be awesome. Just like me! Because the people have to stay away from each other right now my person is teaching on the computer. And I help!

The Dog on the computer is ME! Here I am teaching how to do the leash walking position. You can't see my person because she's not black like I am, but she is beside me working as my assistant.

Do you see how closely this young one is watching me? Her name is Bonnie and she is sixteen weeks old. I am sure she is going to grow up to be a Very Good Dog, just like ME!

Am I getting OLD???

 Hi friends! Ojo here!

Today I went bouncing in the snow!

But when we got back after Walk my hip was sore. Am I getting OLD???

I can't keep track, but the people say I am probably about eight years old. They are not exactly sure because I was already full-sized when I came to live with them. But I'm somewhere around eight. That's not Old, is it??? Surely I have lots of bouncing left in me!

This afternoon the people gave me a little white something in cottage cheese. It tasted funny, but I ate it anyways because it was in cottage cheese. I love cottage cheese!

A little while later my hip felt better. Surely I am not Old. Surely I can bounce more tomorrow!

Also it is Fall

While winter has started at little-house-on-the-mountain, down in the valley below it is Fall! I think I am lucky, I get to play in both Winter and Fall on the same day!

Time with my youngest person

Hi friends! Ojo here! When I was in big-house-in-the-city last month I got to spend lots of time with my youngest person. This was very happy! We did many things together, including hanging out, snacking, and playing chase! We also climbed a mountain. Don't we look beautiful together?

I love my youngest person!

Then there was snow!

 Hi friends! Ojo here!

When we woke up this morning, something wonderous had happened - SNOW!

We have not blogged in a very long time. You may have wondered where we went. One of my people had an accident. Her body got a little bit banged up. We spent a whole month in big-house-in-the-city to help her get better.

I liked this very much! Not the part about my person getting hurt, but the part about being around all the people and Dogs. So many people! So many Dogs! I also liked the part where I got to spend time in my yard. I also liked the part where I got to sleep on the bed with my person to help her get better.

Now my person is mostly mended and we are back up in little-house-on-the-mountain. I miss all the people. But we got SNOW!

I ran! I zoomed! I rolled! I sniffed! It was very much fun!

But also I am missing Cobi today. Snow was Cobi's favourite. I will play extra hard today, just for her.
