Today was a fabulous day.

It started with a hike up Mt. Doug. We went early, before Nature started making the wind. Instead there was just sun, which felt very nice on my fur.

My people did Picnic. They shared.

I also had a good conversation with my littlest person. We talked about many things, including one of my favourite topics - food!

My eyes could see a long way, and my nose even further...

After Mt. Doug we went to pet-store-called-Bosleys. This is a happy place. It smells like many kinds of food, and if I am super-alert I find little bites to eat hidden around the store. Lots of people pet me and say "good dog", and at the end I always get lamb-treat.

Then this afternoon there was Rake again.

Today was one of the best days ever!

I help with chores

Today my person did the chore called Rake. I helped.

I chase Rake and bite the ends. I'm sure my person finds this very helpful.

Yay Rake! Can we do more chores?

Orange sky and crunchy grass

This morning my person took me to Dallas Road. The grass was crunchy and cold under my paws, and when I breathed out I could see the steamy air leaving my mouth.

The world was orange and pink. There were only a few other dogs, but many birds.

When the ground is cold and damp like this, the smells stay clear for a very long time. I spent much time sniffing and exploring with my nose. It was a perfect morning for this!

Both me and my person were happy with our walk this morning. My person thought it was very pretty. I thought the ground and the air were very good sniffing. Why don't we do this every day?
