Squirrels

Hi hi hi! Ojo here! 

The squirrels are very busy right now. They are dashing up and down the trees, and leaping from branch to branch. 

My person says they are getting ready for winter, but I think something suspicious is going on.

I must keep watch.

Hi friends, Ojo here! Oh what a happy day it is to be outside in the grass and the flowers!

I think there is a squirrel over there...

But it is getting too warm to chase. It's not that I'm getting too old to catch them anymore. Nope. Not at all. It's simply that it's too warm to bother.

Besides, who needs to chase a squirrel when it's this nice to lie in the grass!

I am in the flowers again. Contemplating life. 

Thinking about running in a field. Thinking about what might be for dinner. Thinking about - WAIT!

A SQUIRREL!

I thought I could be like a squirrel, but acorns are Bad (by Ojo)

I have been watching squirrels move nuts all week! They are very busy in our Yard! They pick up a nut, then pick up another nut, then pick up another nut! I hear they eat them in the winter!

So I ate one too!

It was an acorn. It tasted okay. But my tummy did not like it. At night when I was trying to sleep my tummy ejected the acorn onto my bed.

This was very upsetting. My tummy almost never rejects anything! It can digest dead, flat, dehydrated bunny! It can digest poop! It can digest dead, rotting crabs from the beach!

But it could not digest the acorn. Friends, acorns are Bad. Do not be like a squirrel. Do not eat acorns.

I am watching Squirrels! They are very busy right now hiding nuts. And teasing me, by standing outside our window and shaking their tails at me! This is most concerning... I must watch some more!
