My Gotcha Day Present!

I got a present for my Gotcha Day!

It is a hedgehog. It's name is Hedgehog!

This toy is for me, and only me!

I am not going to dead Hedgehog. Instead I am going to snuggle Hedgehog. And lick and suckle Hedgehog. And I will give Hedgehog much love.

Hurray for Hedgehog!

My Gotcha Day!

Today is my Gotcha Day!

My people brought me home eight years ago today!

That can't be me, can it? Surely I was never that small!

And wait, that can't be my littlest person either, can it? Surely she was never that small???

Wow. I have lived and loved, learned and grown, played and hung out, with my people for EIGHT YEARS!

Happy Gotcah Day to ME!!!

Green grass

A few days ago we showed you all the yellow grass. And then we found some green grass! I was wrong - green grass is even better than brown grass!

It is soft. It is comfy. It is cool on the belly.

And it is still fun to run through! Green grass, we love you!

Three happy things - Canada Day, Uplands Park, and Bunny! (by Ojo)

Hi hi hi! Ojo here!

Today some Very Happy Things occurred!

First of all we went to Uplands Park! We have not been to Uplands Park in a very, very long time. This very, very long time is three months. This is because the birds make babies in the park and so Dogs are not allowed.

But the birds are done making babies so we got to go back to Uplands Park today! Hurray!

Uplands Park is different at every time of the year, and right now it is full of tall grasses and interesting plants, and bunnies and birds, and lots of crazy trees!

The second happy thing is that a bunny went into my mouth. I shook-shook-shook it! And then I ate-ate-ate it!

It went right into my mouth. (After I chased it.) This mouth, right here! Hurray!

The third happy thing is that today is Canada Day! Canada is my adopted home, and I love it here! First of all we have bunnies that sometimes go in my mouth, but also there are forests and beaches and snow, and many more wonderful things! Also my people are here! I am very proud to be a Canadian Dog! Happy Canada Day to our other Canadian Dog friends too!

(Yes I am very sleepy in this photo. It was after our Walk. Plus my tummy was digesting Bunny.)
