Dear park-destroying peoples...

Dear peoples who are making a mess in Park,

I know how much fun it is to dig, and I do enjoy smelling all the dirt you have dug up. However, there is not much place left for me to run, and most of my friends do not come to Park anymore because it is too muddy.

So here is what I think about you messing up my Park:

Tickles in my field

Today I went somewhere with my whole family.

I come to this place sometimes with Momma C. Normally it is a big empty field for me to pee in. But today my field was fully of people.

Momma C is always happy to share this place with me.

What is this interesting creature called?

Simon

Today we went to visit my friend Simon.

For some reason I just can't help but like him so very much. My person says this is because he's "intact". What does "intact" mean?

Simon is WorkingStockKelpie, which means that he likes to herd and push and chase. I like to play that way too!

He is younger than me, so sometimes I need to tell him to behave. But most of the time we just like to play together.

Simon's yard is full of things like Tunnel and Jump and A-Frame. Simon plays with these things while I chase.

My nose

Here are games I played with my nose. I have a very good nose. My person was very pleased.

The people called this "The Box Game". They said that this is how some working dogs start to learn their jobs. These dogs hunt for narcotics and bombs. What are narcotics and bombs? 

I'm happy just to hunt for food or my toy, thank you!

No fur, little flat noses

Why does Nature make people without much fur? They get cold so easily. They always have to put things on their bodies to keep warm.

Apparently they also put things on their bodies to look nice to other people.

I understand this. When I find something wonderfully smelly, I roll it into my fur to share with my friends. This is how I smell nice to other dogs.

If the people actually had good noses instead of the tiny, useless things stuck flat on their faces, then they would appreciate the wonderful smells I bring home to share with them. But they don't. Instead they always make me do Bath. People are so boring.

Busy

Over the past few days I have done all of these things: A Sniffing day with Momma B (lots of time in my crate with other dogs nearby, coming out to play games with my nose or walk on the grass), a walk at Beach, a walk at Mt. Doug, a tricks-dancing-class with Momma B and many other dogs, and lots of fun games with food.

So now this is me:

Hot and lake

Nature made Hot. Lake day with my people. Many dogs. Cool water, also made by Nature. Happy day.

Nature is still making Summer. There were many of the little flying-buzz-buzz creatures working hard.

Nature is also starting to make Fall, with berries in all sorts of colours.

But mostly it is still Summer. Today was very hot, even early in the morning!
