Nature has been making very-nice-fall-weather! We have been on many adventures!

We've been in the ocean and we've been in the lake!

More accurately, I've been in the ocean and lake. Cyrus prefers not to get his feet wet!

And Cyrus has climbed to the top of the world! 

Not me, friends. I stayed home and ate a very-yummy-Kong. Climbing is sometimes too much for me these days.

Nature is making sun today, so we went to the lagoon! We took some time to post for pawtraits and we got beef for looking extra-cute today!

A card came in the mail!

An envelope came in the mail! It had our names on it - Ojo and Cyrus! 

We carried it to our person! She helped us open it! Inside was a card from our Auntie! 

Our Auntie told us about where she takes Dogs for Walks near her house. We've decided that we would like to go there sometime, too!

Beach Evening

We had one last Beach Walk for the year! 

Or, at least, our person says it might be the last one. I hope not! But it is true that Beach isn't very nice when it is wet and cold and raining and windy. And wet and cold and raining and windy are coming soon!

We went to Beach after dinner! Our shadows were very long!

We like Beach very much!

Good things for Cyrus! (and ME too!)

Here are some good things that happened to Cyrus:

Cyrus got a new soccer-ball-with-flaps for his birthday! These are his favourite toys!

Cyrus went for a Walk with our person in big fields! He met other Dogs and he played with other Dogs and he sniffed rabbits and he sniffed voles!

Cyrus went to the Farm! He met sheep and chickens! He ate rabbit poop! He ran around with the farm Dogs! 

Cyrus had a Very Good Week!

Here are some good things that happened to ME:

When Cyrus went to the Farm, I went on a Walk with Grandma! She took me to one of my favourite places! Then she took me to her house and gave me snacks! Then she took me on another Walk!

I also had a Very Good Week.

Today Nature is making rain, and we are both tired, so we are sleeping. That is all.

Today Cyrus turns One Year Old!

He thinks he is very wise now, but I disagree! I have fourteen years to his measly one year!

For Cyrus's birthday, our person took us for an extra-long Walk this morning! We went to the Lagoon!

Because it is Cyrus's birthday, he was allowed to roll in dead-seaweed-and-muscles-stink!
(It wasn't really that stinky, but it was still Very Nice!)

It was a very beautiful day at the water!

I was born in Alabama! Cyrus was born in Michigan! But we are both now Canada Dogs!

I am writing to report that I've decided that Cyrus is okay. I can do All The Walks with my person anymore, and while I very much want to, Cyrus is filling in for me. He's turning out to be a pretty good pack mate.

A Special Walk at a Special Place!

Last night we went on a Special Walk! This is a Special Place that I have been to many times, but it was the first time for Cyrus!

In celebration of my 13th Gotcha Day, which is coming up in a few weeks, my person asked something called A-Eye to make a picture of what I looked like as a puppy!

I don't remember what I looked like! Do you think this might be ME, friends?

My person doesn't know how old I was when I came home, but this is what I looked like way back then.

And this is ME now!

Happy Walk through Fields and Forest!

We had a very Very Happy Walk today! 

It was an accidental Walk! We were supposed to do our Lake Walk, which is also a Happy Walk, but there were hundreds and hundreds of people running and parking and putting up cones to block our trail!

So we did a Walk that our person and I remembered from a very long time ago! 

I don't think we've done this Walk since Cobi was with us! And Cyrus has never done this Walk!

We walked through the fields with grass and flowers and critters! We walked through the forest with faerie rings and old trees!

I zoomed, friends! I zoomed like I haven't zoomed in many years!

And Cyrus zoomed like I used to when I was young!

We have decided. We would like to do this Walk again. Soon.
