Hi hi hi! Ojo here!
We live in a place where the weather is MUD for more than half of the year.
I am a Black Dog. My fur hides the mud.
Cobi was a Brown Dog. Her fur hid the mud. (Except for her paws, which were light and always told on her when she'd been wading in mud puddles.)
Pepper was a Black Dog. His fur hid the mud.
But Cyrus is a Mostly-White Dog.
What was our person thinking???
Friends, I don't think you can see the level of the problem. Cyrus' legs are BROWN MUD. Cyrus' tummy is BROWN MUD. Cyrus' chest is BROWN MUD.
Even the top of his head has brown mud on it!
But here's the thing... It only takes about three hours, and then Cyrus is dry and the mud is GONE.
How does that happen? I still have mud on ME! Where did Cyrus' mud go?
(Our person says that Cyrus has a coat like a silken windhound, which means that his coat is like something called teflon... whatever that is. When he dries, all the mud falls off!)
(Our person also says that this is why we have the weird-vacuum-robot-thing that goes around the house in circles, sucking up the dirt and mopping the floors!)

How cool to have a coat like Teflon. Does that mean Cyrus will never need a bath?
Wow, you are mud and wear, Cyrus! Even Benji cannot claim that...Wish we had one of those robotic things here...Benji sheds like Pigpen in Charlie Brown!
wow, I am totally IMPRESSED with Cyrus and his mud and wear, goog one Meezer, no robot here but I do have a new leaf blower..
Mud for half the year is certainly an issue and we are well aware of the silky furs that are everywhere inside the house. I've never had a mud issue but I sure do have a snow issue with the snowballs not wanting to come out of my furs but snow is clean and mud is not. Cyrus doesn't seem to be too bothered and looks happy on the bed!
It is hard to be a white mud dog
That is the best fur to have. Angel Lee had that kind of fur, but not Angel Phod. We don't get to be in the mud as Lady is mean. Tigris, Styx and Lanie too
We have self cleaning fur too, but that mud has to go somewhere---and it ends up in the vacuum cleaner! Does the robot scare your pups? It would freak us out for sure!
