Hi friends, Ojo here! There is smoke in the skies today! Everything is orange and the air is very hot! My person gave us lots of breaks on our Walk today.
Oh dear, we do hope it isn't a bad fire. You ask what's been happening where I live. Well quite a lot actually! Eight days ago we thought the most exciting thing that would happen in Aberdeenshire was the Tour of Britain cycle race starting here. Then on Tuesday, Boris Johnson flew up to Aberdeenshire to meet the Queen as outgoing Prime Minister, and Liz Truss rocked up a short while later to be greeted by Her Majesty as new UK PM. The Queen was looking frailer than ever. Then two days later, also in Aberdeenshire of course, Queen Elizabeth died. Yesterday, the Queen's coffin was driven from Balmoral, through Aberdeen and onto Edinburgh. You can read about how Gail and I went to see the coffin as it was driven past, less than half a mile from our house, yesterday morning. Is that enough 'happening' for one week? Toodle-oo! Nobby.
so sorry to hear you are close enough to a fire to smell the smoke, several bloggers I know are seeing that smoke and it scares me. stay safe, and while you are on fire watch,we here are on storm watch until Nov
We've had mostly cloudy skies with occasional rain. Not great for going outside and enjoying nature. We hope the smoke clears soon and the fires aren't near you.
We are finally getting a break in the humidity here, which causes our mom to turn OFF the AC and open the windows. We of course, being huskies, do not agree and want our AC back on!!! Hope it is getting nicer and more clear where you are Ojo!

It was quite cloudy and coolish here today...hope that smoke will dissipate and that you'll have better conditions all round.
