People say Canada is cold and snowy. Not where we live!
People say the West Coast is grey and raining. Not where we live! (At least, not always.) (Okay, some of the time.) (Okay, lots of the time. But there are lots of nice times too!)
Since it is Winter on the West Coast, we went to the Beach.
There wasn't much beach. It was mostly logs and kelp and seaweed, with a little bit of sand. But that was okay. Ojo splashed in the water, and we both chased Sticks!
Hurray for living on the West Coast where we have Beach even in Winter!

You girls are having a fun day for yourselves!
We think your weather is quite like ours here in Scotland. But Gail says your beaches have far more and bigger logs than we ever see in Scotland. With or without logs, beaches are fun, aren't they?
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
Sand?! Seaweed?! Sticks to chew...sounds like paradise. Bet there are loads of great scents.
You're very lucky to have a nice beach to visit, even on winter days. Lake Ontario beaches are probably all frozen over today here in WNY.
It is not our Canada. Our lake is so think with ice you can drive a truck on it. The snow is knee deep. We are banished inside because it is too cold -30 for the 4th day. We are going to try and get our peeps to move to your Canada. It looks far more agreeable.
I think that your beach is probably best any day, did you find something to roll in? No trip to the beach is complete without that! But it's way, way too cold to enjoy the beach, glad you both got the chance too! Take care, and have a good week!
Bet dat seaweed smells good.
We also love our west coast beaches even in the winter..Although down here in Northy North California it has been raining for 87 days!!
