Fall means fog (and rain)

The rains have started. This is very good. Nature is taking a deep breath and all the plants are sighing with relief. Also all of the smells are so strong after rain, so sniffing is very interesting right now.

This morning we climbed to the Top of the World. But the world was GONE!

We could still smell it, but we could not see it. This was because of the fog.

But this was okay, because the fog meant no hot sun. It meant very interesting smells lingering in the wetness of the air. It meant a cooler morning so we had more energy for zoomies.

And it was not raining. So we were all very happy. Because even though rain is good right now, we still do not like walking in it.

Hurray for foggy Fall mornings!

Is Fall happening where you are?

Your photos are beautiful with the two of you surrounded by fog! We had rain all day yesterday with cool temps but today, the warmer temps with humidity will return for a couple of days. We can't wait for fall to return and STAY!

It's cooled off here for now. We had a couple days of rain too. We're glad you have some nice fog. Yes, it does bring out the interesting scents.

Our morning fogs usually mean that the sun will burn it away and we'll have a beautiful day. We haven't had much fog this year....but we're finally having some good, lying outside in the sun days at the moment.
