Fall in the forest

It is Fall in our forest.

The crunchy leaves are fun to sniff and poke around in. Sometimes they hide interesting things underneath like mice or dead critters!

What is Nature doing where you live?

Hooray for Fall! We don't have those crunchy leaves on the ground yet. But give it a couple weeks, especially if the weather cools off.

Oh I love it when the leaves fall and form crunchy (or even soggy) piles which are great fun to investigate. But we are still having summer here. No, correction, 'cos summer only actually arrived in September... But for once our bit of Scotland is enjoying an extended spell of warm, dry, fine weather. It's not often I get to say that! So no leaf piles just yet.

Nature has been raining off and on here, but it is helping the Spring flowers blossom! We like the sound of MICE in the leaves.....
