Things that start with "B"
Today was "B" day.
First we went to the Beach.
Then we played with Ball.
You may notice that I am not fetching. This is because I do not fetch. But I am very good at chasing my friend Ball and making it stop.
Throw it again! Throw it again!
Then there was the part that I didn't tell you about because it didn't start with "B". This part was the Dead Thing I found on the Beach.
It smelled wonderful! My person didn't go near it, and I felt bad for her because it was so wonderfully stinky. I am a Good Dog, and I am considerate of my people. So I rolled in the Dead Thing and brought the smell back to share with my person.
But do you think she was grateful? Oh no, not at all! In fact, she did something terrible, horrible, no good and very bad.
Which brings me to my last "B"...
Bath.

The Fall
Nature is making Fall!
I like Fall very much. Here is why:
The air is not as Hot. I can run and run and run forever.
Rain on the ground makes the smells very strong and interesting.
My eyes see the colour yellow very well so everything is bright.
My person spends time on our Walk to point her big-black-eye at things. This gives me lots of time to Sniff.
So I like Fall.
Look at all the amazing colours!
And then there was this - a spider getting ready to lay her eggs before Winter!
Being out in Nature in the Fall make me very happy! Yay for Fall!

I am a Canine Good Neighbor!
Today I did a test with my person. This test was not the best thing I've ever done because there was no food allowed. But I passed! Now I am a CKC Canine Good Neighbor!
Afterwards I got to go for a rainy beach walk with my best dog-friend Simon! This was a good reward. Is Nature making rain for any other Dogs out there?

Even better than Turkey
This weekend was Turkey weekend! I had much Turkey. And also shrimp, whip cream, ham, and a lick of something called "pumpkin pie".
Just when I thought the weekend could not get any better... it did.
This is my best-dog-friend in the whole world - Simon!
He came on Walk with us. We did much exploring.
Nature has decided it is tine for Fall. This is when the air gets cooler and the leaves shed all over the ground.
Things turn pretty colours.
The cooler air is nice for us Dogs with our fur coats.
It was even cool enough for a game of chase-fetch-chase!
This is where my person throws the frisbee, Simon chases the frisbee, and I chase Simon. I love this game.
Okay, I'll admit it - it was still pretty Hot. So our game went like this:
Simon and I would be exploring-walking-sniffing-hanging-out as we moved along the path. Then another Dog would come, or sometimes Simon would decide to follow a scent-trail and go far away. My person would call his name and he would run back to her.
(Have I mentioned that he is a Good Dog?)
Then she would say "good boy Simon" and she would make the frisbee fly. We would get to chase two or three times, by which point our tongues were hanging out and our breath was panting.
My person would hide the frisbee and say "all done", and we'd go back to sniffing.
Both were fun. Anything is fun when Simon is around!
I don't know why today was special like this, but I hope it happens again soon!
