Now I have a handle, sigh

 Hi friends! Ojo here!

A package came for me! I was very excited! Was it treats? A toy?

But, sadly, the contents were not that good.

My package was a new harness. There is nothing wrong my old harness! But Momma C wants me to have a handle on my back. She says that the snow is melting. She says there are tree wells I could fall into. She says soon there will be running water under the snow I could fall into. And she wants me to have a handle so they can fish me out.

Can you believe it?!? ME?!?!? With a handle!?!?

I would like to say that I have never, ever gotten stuck and needed pulling out. Cobi used to get stuck. And Momma B is the one who kept falling into the snowy creek last fall. Not ME!

But now I have a handle. Sigh.

Okay, yes, I don't look too unhappy.

I did not like it at first. I did not like how it goes under my belly. When they first put it on I puffed out my belly like a Horse getting a saddle put on. And then it seemed like my body was stuck and I could not move, like a Cat with something funny on its body.

But then we went outside and I totally, completely forgot about the harness. With the handle.

It turns out I can still run. And sniff. And play. And roll!

But don't tell anyone. It's kind of embarrassing to have a handle.

Don't worry Ojo, I won't tell anyone about the handle. So long as you don't tell anyone about the special harness I wear on the train to stop me slipping my collar and run off the train as it's about to depart. Which of course would never happen! Oh I forget. It once did. Gail says handles can be very useful. Even when there's no train travel! And at least it looks like you are having fun in the snow.
Toodle pip!

See - the handle is not so bad, Ojo, and the red harness is so striking against your furs. Have fun in your beautiful snow!

A handle can be, well, handy, Ojo. When we lived on a sailboat, our cardi corgi wore a harness, with a leash attached, so he could be pulled out of the water, if need be (and there were a few times...). Congratulations on such a sharp looking vest, handle and all.

Beau said to tell you he loves his handle, when the handle is picked up from the basket he sits and gets a big smile on his face. Handle on means outside to walk or ride, so think happy thoughts and stay safe.. repeat after Beau, Handles are great thing and a safe thing and you look wonderful in red.

You do look happy playing in the snow, Ojo. We hope your person never needs to use that handle but it's there if she does.

A handle can come in handy and since it's so easily forgotten, you won't mind it. I will check the harness I have but don't use. If it has a handle, I will put it on Faith so I can get her in the car. She hates to ride and I have to trick her with her orange ball. But she's smart, so it does't always work. A handle would do the trick. I love your snow, I wonder where you live. Here snow comes, then goes right away.

Maybe the chicken that gets on the bed needs a harness more than you do! Hope you can rub it off.

I think the handle looks great on you. You can put snacks under the handle.

OMD, Ma says she needs to gets one of those!!! Not because of the snow (it doesn't snow here, unfortunately), butts sometimes when I use my ramp to gets in my truck, I jump the last half, and Ma doesn't likes it. whatevers. Anyhu, she says that this would help...I agree.
Since it's Ojo approved, I'll gives it a shot! BOL!
Do some snow zoomies for me, k?
