Hi hi hi! Ojo here!
Spring is coming! I can smell it in the air!
That is the lake way down below me. The breeze carries its smells all the way up to me up top! The birds are very busy right now. I think they're yelling too much, but our person seems to like the sounds. Also there was a teeny, tiny bit of sun. I am happy that it is almost-spring!

A good-bye to Simon
Last summer I lost one of my best friends. His name was Simon.
I met Simon when he was nine weeks old. I was only two! We played. We went on Walks together. We hung out. We were best friends.
More recently Simon's people moved further away from us and I didn't see him very much.
I also didn't get to see Simon as much because Ojo came to live with us, and Ojo and Simon were not friends. Ojo zoomed too fast and Simon did not like this. He would snap and bark at her to slow down. But this made her nervouse and she zoomed even faster. So our people did not ask Ojo and Simon to hang out together. This means I didn't see Simon as much either.
But still I loved him.
A year ago my friend Simon started feeling unwell. His people tried doing all sorts of things to help him. He had to make many visits to Vet. But by the summer time his people knew he had a Big Bad Thing growing in his body, and it was time to say good-bye.
It has taken me a long time write about Simon because I am very sad. My person is very sad too.
Simon walked over the rainbow bridge last August. He was nine years old. Apart from Ojo, he was my best friend.
My person drew a picture of him, and gave it as a gift to his people.
We all loved Simon very much. Simon, I will see you again on the other side of the bridge. Thank you for being my friend. We miss you!

My blanket
This is my blanket!
My blanket was a present from Grandma HoHo. She is called Grandma HoHo because at Christmas she says HO HO HO a lot. I know this for a fact because I have heard her. And because she says HO HO HO a lot our littlest person has named her Grandma HoHo.
This Christmas we did not see Grandma HoHo, and we did not hear her say HO HO HO. Instead she sent us a box, and inside the box were wrapped presents for the people. Inside the box was also my blanket!
I know this blanket is from Grandma HoHo because I could smell her scent on it when our people took it out of the box. I know it is Grandma HoHo's scent because Grandma HoHo smells like love.
Our person says this blanket was a present for everyone, even Ojo. But I love it the best. Therefore I have decided it is MY blanket.
My blanket is very soft. I press my face into it when I'm napping because it feels so nice against me. And I can bunch it up and rearrange it and make it exactly how I want it. Also, my blanket lives on the Couch, which is one of my favourite places to be.
Thank you Grandma HoHo, I love my blanket!

Sun break! (by Ojo)
Hi hi hi! Ojo here!
It has rained and rained and rained and rained. There are big puddles everywhere. But today we had a sun break! It was a small sun break, but it came at the same time as our Walk! I lay in the (wet) grass and soaked up some rays. The sun felt very nice on my fur! Now it is raining again.
