Me and my person

As much as I love Ojo (and yes, I am a big enough Dog to admit that I love her, at least most of the time), there are times when I miss how it used to be. Just me and my person, exploring the world together, side-by-side always.

Sometimes, when Ojo is off bouncing after bunnies, I sit beside my person on top of a high mountain. The world goes by below us, wide and vast. I sniff the many smells in the air, and my person watches birds flying and looks out to the ocean far below.

At these times I am content. I could be beside my person always and forever.
