I wait

I wait.

Today was the shortest day of the year. Nature is making very long, very dark nights. But it's not all dark, because Nature has been making sun too.

And waiting isn't bad either. You see, I have a family of people that are very much fun.

Just this week alone I have been to Forest three times, to Beach twice, to Park to play soccer, and to Office for a party that involved lots of meat and cheese.

So waiting isn't so bad. In fact, it's been a lot of fun. I've smelled the breeze, squished mud under my paws, and felt the sun on my fur.

And what's that my ears hear?

What's that my nose smells?

Reindeer! They're getting ready! They are coming soon! Only four more sleeps, my people say!

And I will wait. I am a patient Dog. And I am a happy Dog.

You are definitely a patient pup, I'm sure Santy Paws will reward you for all that waiting! ;-) Make sure you get a photo of the reindeer if you see them...I fall asleep so early, I'm pretty sure I'll be missing all the fun!! :-D

Yeap, we are waiting also, but we are not patient at all. So you sound the alert so we can go to bed when Santa Comes.

I suppose you are waiting for Santa Paws to come. LOL. I doubt he's gonna drop by our home... I especially told him to have it mailed to us in the mid-year so that our present don't get stuck in the Christmas traffic.

We got you e-card. Thanks. We hope you've already received our post card.

Huggies and Cheese,

Haopee of my dogs love me

P.S. I just read your response in the comment box and it was really sweet and funny.

We're glad you got our post card in time for Christmas. We got yours in time too.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Huggies and Cheese,

Haopee

I no longer use a clicker since I'm better with the verbal cues than with the clicky thing.

I think your such a lucky dog! You live so close to everything in the world that is exciting... the beach- the forest, for walks and office visits!
And you got cheese and meat! All that living must be what makes you so beautiful!
Tell me if you see the reindeer!
I love your story.
