I saw something VERY SCARY up in a tree!
I had to do big barks to protect my people. Well, okay, I was protecting myself. But it was very scary!
The people named it "great blue heron". I named it "great big scary bird that might eat me". Have you ever seen a scary bird on your Walk?

My parents love to see great blue herons, but I'm with you Cobi -- those things are really scary! Have you heard the sound they make when you startle them? It's a VERY scary sound. And they look kinda like pterodactyls when they fly (a pterodactyl is a big scary flying dinosaur thing which fortunately is extinct).
Mom has reassured me that great blue herons don't eat dogs, but I don't believe her. Be careful out there buddy!!!
your friend,
Garth
Very scary!!! We've seen this really really big bird before but couldn't take a pickcher cuz it was too far away :(

Dood, that is skeery. Shouldn't that bird be in the lake or sumthin? Be careful out there! Happy Sunday. xoxo
Whoa, glad you escaped with your neck...who knows what that giant, scary looking bird might have done!? Ick! Thankfully we don't have creepy herons, just some smaller white birds that are called egrets. Good job on saving yourself and your family! Keep up the good work Cobi! ;-)
A big scary bird indeed. I chase crows! Have a lovely Sunday.
Best wishes Molly
those things live by us and scream. And their poop is gigantor.

WHOA! That is a big and scary bird! I would have barked too!
Oh Cobi...don't be scared. Herons don't hurt dogs...only fish. That's what Momma says. She has always been trustworthy with the stuff she tells me, so I believe her.
Where I live there is a scary bird called "Owl". I can hear him at night. He says "Who, Who". Momma says "Me, Me". When Momma hears him at our house I have to wear my leash cause she said that he will kidnap me & take me to his nest. I do not want to go to his nest.
I think he's kinda like the big bird I see at the beach all the time. The one that Momma says wants to invite me for dinner. I have to wear my leash when he is around too.
Cobi, you are so brave!
