Another photo shoot

Sigh. Why must we do another photo shoot??

The good things about Photo Shoot are that sometimes we get to go to new places, and also that there is cheese involved.

The bad thing about Photo Shoot is that our person stays in the same place for a Very Long Time. Mostly she lets us wander around, but sometimes we have to stay in the same place for a Very Long Time too. Yes, there is cheese. But still.

Yes, we are beautiful. Yes, we would like cheese. But can we go sniff again now please? It's time to point your big-black-eye at something else!

It rained pretty much forever! Then it was windy! Then the sun came out!

The sun felt So Nice on my fur after all the rain!

For some reason though our person is pointing her big-black-eye-called-camera up, instead of down at us Dogs. Aren't we Dogs more beautiful than this?

What do you mean when you say I am going grey?

I am still a spring chicken, thank you very much! I still leap and bound through the bushes! (Mostly.) I still catch rabbits and squirrels and ratties! (Sometimes.) I am still young and beautiful!!

I am a Black Dog, and I don't see any grey! Do you?? Of course not. Sheesh.

Oh couch, I love you!

With your pillows and cushions and blankets, you are soft and perfect for napping on. You smell like my people, and also a little bit like the syrup from my littlest person's midnight-waffle-snack last night. I think I will stay on you forever!

What do you mean, you want me to move? What do you mean, this is your spot? Clearly this is MY spot!

Hello there. Is that Cheese I smell in your pocket?

Yes please, I would like some Cheese! Look at how nicely I sit and wait for Cheese!

Pee. Ess. To any humans reading this, did you know that us Dogs smell in stereo? Each of our nostrils captures scent separately, just like each of our ears do! If you look at the first photo of me up above, you'll see that my nose is angled to one side with my right nostril pointing at the Cheese, even though my face is straight on. Aren't we Dogs amazing?

The rains have started!

The plants and grasses and trees are breathing a sigh of relief!

At the same time, the plants and trees are getting ready for Winter. The leaves are on the ground as they get ready to go to sleep for the year.

But most exciting is that all of the smells that dried up all summer are now moist and very strong! It is a very good time of year for sniffing! We like walking in the Fall.

All summer most of the Beaches are for the people only. But now it is something called October and so the Beaches are for people AND Dogs again! Hurray!
