I once found this bell thing in Gail's cupboard and, frankly, I didn't believe her when she told me it was to scare bears away. I mean, we don't have bears in Scotland! So she said it dated back to a wild camping trip in Glacier National Park in 1990, before my time, but, well, I was still a bit dubious. But now I see you wearing a bear bell, I understand that her story is, I guess, credible... Toodle pip! Bertie.
