Deep in the forest
Of cedar and arbutus and Douglas Fir trees
Where it smells like
Wet soil
Moss
And growing things
Where we can hear
The wind
Chattering birds
And Raven song
Where it feels
Damp
Spongy
And safe
We lie down in the ferns
A soft, cool bed
For rest and napping.
Pee Ess No, our person did not ask us to pose. She stopped to look at the flat black box she carries in her pocket all the time named Phone, and when looked up we were reclining the ferns looking beautiful. As always.

Those are perfect pictures.
We can just imagine the wonderful, earthy smell of the ferns and evergreens! You are such lucky doggies to have an enchanted place like that to enjoy!
