I caught a muskrat! Then I ate it!
Isn't that clever? I have now caught the following things:
- Bunnies
- Squirrels (but only ever two, they're very tricky!)
- Mice
- Voles
- Ratties (lots and lots!)
- Muskrat
For some reason the people did not take a picture of me eating my muskrat. I do not know why. The moment when I just had a fuzzy tail hanging out of my mouth would have been perfect!
This meal was very smart of me. This muskrat was fresh, organic, and free-range too! Does food get any better than that?

Oh great.......now mom has that old song "Muscrat Love" in her head and is humming it to us! Us dogs think that was a very wholesome meal!
Way to go! I's caught skwerrils, rats, and mousies!
Oh wow! Good job! Zoe is going to be so jealous when I tell her! :D
Humans are funny about that kind of thing. I caught a baby grackle once, when I was still a pup. I had it halfway head first down my throat when my humans yanked it out of my mouth. I just don't know why they get so upset about those things. It was delicious!
I am soooooooooooo jealous, Ojo!
Love ya lots♥

well you are quite the hunter - and they do say fresh is best !
Dear cousin Ojo, I admit to being envious of your snack list. I have only gotten squirrel, groundhog and mouse. I never eat them for some strange reason. The fun is in the reading. I would have loved a picture of you with it in your mouth. People can be sensitive over silly things. I hope you catch more muskrats.

Concatulations on your kill!!! We kits think that is amazing!
Oh Ojo, that sounds the most lip-smackingly perfect meal.
If only we had a photo...(for educational purposes, you understand, not all of your readers have had the privilege of encountering - much less deading and eating - a muskrat).
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
OMD Ojo.... you have us DROOLING here... BRAVO on the FRESH CATCH of the day!!

So far, we've only deaded birds, but we've never been able to actually eat them. Human is to quick. Now, muskrat, that sounds delicious!
