Alpine! (by Ojo)

Hi hi hi! Ojo here! We were Away! We went to our cabin-in-the-snow, but there was no snow! How weird is that?

Instead there were bushes and berries and flowers! The people called this "alpine". We had to wear these loud things our collars called Bear Bells. This is so the bears would know where to find us if they wanted lunch! Or so the people said. And then they laughed. Why did they laugh?

It is very pretty there, don't you think?

Oooh, and did I mention the berries?? These are salal berries which were down lower, and then up high were wild blueberries and black currents! They were amazing! I ate the right off the bushes!!

We went on some Walks. One day our Walk was very, very long. Don't tell the people, but I think we were Lost!

And it was Hot! Very, very Hot!

We were on our Walk for FIVE HOURS! Can you believe it? Five hours! Near the end we had to take many breaks because Cobi was very done. And very grouchy.

But we found some amazing spots on our Very Long Walk! We found a creek with water! I went all the way in. So did the people. Cobi did not. (This must be why she was so hot and grouchy.)

And we found this amazing pond!! It was so refreshing! (Cobi still did not go in. Which is why she was hot. But less grouchy.)

At the end of our Very Long Five Hour Walk I still had enough energy to go swimming for sticks. Aren't I amazing?!?

And then we were done...

Ojo, that's what I do after a long walk. Except I don't think I could go for a 5 hour walk. After about 45 minutes I just lay down in the shade - BOL!!
