Good-bye Uplands Park! (by Ojo)

Hi hi hi! Ojo here!

Uplands Park is my favourite place in the whole world!

It has rocks and moss! It has flowers and grass! It has treed spots and sunny spots! It has bunnies and birds! It has squirrels and eagles! It has mud and puddles!

Every time we come here it is different!

We have been watching Uplands Park change from Fall to Winter and now to Spring! Green grass everywhere! Flowers! Birds!

But today is our last day to visit this Park for a Very Long Time.

We are not allowed off leash in Uplands Park starting tomorrow. This is because the birds are making babies. And this is a protected ecosystem!

I would only bother the baby birds a little bit... I promise!

Okay. Sigh. You are right. I would bother the baby birds a lot.

So, just like the sign says, we are not going to visit My Favourite Park for a long time.

Good-bye Uplands Park. I can't wait to see you again in July!

No Dogs?!?!? (by Ojo)

Hi hi hi! Ojo here!

What does it mean, no dogs on the beach between May 1 and September 30?

Why are there no Dogs allowed on the Beach? That makes no sense! Beaches are for running and playing! I am good at running and playing!

It's not after May 1, is it? No? Good. Let's go run and play then.

In the Sun

My feet are cool
My back is warm

Our Beach is big, sometimes

Sometimes Nature

But today it is big

Dixie

This is Dixie. Dixie is also a Dog-friend.

Dixie likes to chase bunnies. She chases very hard, and then she gets covered in mud and bush-bits. Dixie is a crazy friend!

We found Simon!

Look who we found! Friends!!

Simon and I are good friends. We have known each other since I was young (only two years old) and he was a puppy (only eight weeks old). Since I am now almost seven years old, and Simon is almost five years old, this means we have  known each other for almost five years!

We are always excited to find each other when we are out on Walks!

And that is Simon's person that we found too! Even Ojo is happy about this!
